I wasn't very excited with this season's collections, although I liked a few ones.
DKNY
What caught my eye was the simplicity and all the minimalism, yet not losing its boldness. This is where you apply the "more is less" rule. The models look confy, but they still can make an impact and look strong.
Marc Jacobs
The classic silhouette with a punk touch. Love the mistery and the subtle darkness in this.
3.1 Phillip Lim
As a recap of Phillip Lim's 10th anniversary it mixes the brand most essentials aesthetics. There's a bit of everything, actually. A bit of sportswear, a bit of grunge,
Alexander Wang
I love tough runway shows like this. The inspiration revolves around subcultures like the punk movement, or kids who listen to Marilyn Manson. Don't mess with the Wang woman. Love the "blackness" of this, the leather, the studs.
Proenza Schouler
PS never fails to put up an exciting collection. They know that taking risks, pays off. This isn't boring, and you can't still be all covered up with clothes and still be edgy.
